Nominations are now open for the South St. Paul Rod & Gun Club Hall of Fame!
Current Members can nominate other members to receive this honor.
A member may be elected to the Hall of Fame in one of three categories.
Here are the categories and criteria for Hall of Fame membership:
- Superior Performance: Outstanding shooting abilities in past club leagues or events. Also known achievements elsewhere such as state or national events (ATA, NSSA, NSCA). Members with at least ten years of current, consecutive membership prior to the present date are eligible for this award.
- Meritorious Service: Exceptional accomplishments as an Officer, Director, Sponsor, or any other accomplishments that would make the member worthy of consideration. Members with at least ten years of current, consecutive membership prior to the present date are eligible for this award.
- Pioneer: Members whose meritorious service or superior performance to the Gun Club, with at least twenty years of current, consecutive membership prior to the present date, makes them worthy of this consideration.
A member may be accepted in the Hall of Fame upon election by the Gun Club’s Board of Directors, Officers, Past President, and elected members of the Hall of Fame.
You can nominate another member by sending an email to Secretary@sspgunclub.com. Your email must must specify that you are nominating a member, and for which category. The nomination must include the nominees name, and a paragraph describing why you believe the nominee should be considered for the award. (Be specific, i.e. years served or shooting awards won, or other contributions and accomplishments.)
Nominations must be received by October 1st, 2019 and you may nominate one or more candidates in each category.
