Hours of Operation
Summer hours: Summer hours go into effect March 22, 2016; we are then open Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 3:00 – dusk, Fridays from noon until 4:00, and weekends from 10:00 to dusk.
Membership fees and shooting prices remain unchanged for 2016.
The Club’s Annual Meeting was held February 23, 2015. We held our general election, had dinner, and gave away door prizes and raffles. Thanks to those of you who attended and participated.
Scholarship Forms are Available
Do you have, or know, a high-school senior who could use a scholarship? The Club is giving away 3, $2,000 scholarships this year. Forms and program details are available on our website. The deadline for applications is March 31, 2016.
Annual Member Reloading & Shell Sale
The order form for our annual sale is available at the Club. Please note that we are still unable to get many kinds of powder at this time, and therefore we are not stocking as much reloading inventory as usual. If you don’t see what you need, call me at the Club and, if we can get it, I’ll order it for you. We currently have an adequate supply of shells at very competitive prices, but reloading supplies are still in short supply.
Winter Leagues are wrapped up, and shootoffs ended on March 6th. The Winter League Banquet is scheduled for March 16th at the Club, we hope to see you there as we announce our league and individual winners.
Summer Leagues will be starting soon; practice begins on March 22nd, and leagues officially begin April 5th.
League Sponsors – send us your logo and/or a link to your website, and we will place it on our website for free as a thank you for sponsoring a league team at the Club.
Tournaments & Events
Our next event is our St. Patrick’s Day Shoot, scheduled for March 18-20, 2016.
Carry Permit Training
We are offering carry permit training again! Our next Carry Permit Class is scheduled for Saturday, April 9, 2016. Our next Carry Permit Renewal Class is scheduled for Saturday, March 26, 2016. Class size is limited to the first 20 who register.
Have you thought about learning how to reload? We are now offering reloading classes for shotshell reloading, and will be offering classes for metallic cartridge reloading sometime this summer. These are NRA classes, taught by NRA-certified Instructors.
Heated Rifle/Pistol Range
Subscriptions are now available to the general public for our heated rifle/pistol range. We are building 8 lanes up to 200 yards, and 8 lanes up to 50 yards. Our current plan is to open the range early this summer. Stop at the Club or call, and ask for me, for further information or to purchase a subscription.
Construction will continue as the weather allows. We have installed our first trailer, with a second to follow, which will allow us to install heat and shoot rifle and pistol year-round in relative comfort. We will do our best to minimize disruption of shooting during construction.
Pictures & Email Addresses
Keep sending photos for the website to email@example.com. We will post them as we receive them! We also have an “archived photos” link on the website, so as photos roll off the Photo Gallery you’ll be able to find them in the Archives.
Also, we are sending out more and more information via email. If we don’t have your email address, or if it changes, let us know at the club.
That’s it for now. Questions, comments, or suggestions? Email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
