Training – Defensive Shotgun Training

This class has a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 8 students and is scheduled for 3 hours.

The course is taught at South St. Paul Rod & Gun Club by The Green Beret L.I.F.E.

This course will cover the following areas:

  • Choosing a shotgun and equipment for your defensive needs

  • Fundamentals

  • Manipulating a shotgun efficiently and effectively

  • Tactical and deliberate reloading

  • Ammo management

  • Load considerations

  • Utilizing cover and concealment

  • Tactical considerations for deployment of a shotgun within a home

Equipment list:

  • Defensive Shotgun – Preferably tactical pump or semi-auto; bring what you have

  • Ear Protection

  • Eye Protection

  • Brimmed hat

  • Ammo carrier
